Spring is around the corner which means as thanks to you for following me here, as usual—I am giving TWO of you the chance to win a custom portrait made by me, custom-tailored to your heart’s desire. Free, no strings attached. The rules are simple, but read them so you can win.
What You Get:
A Web-resolution (1100 pixel) custom portrait, tailored to your most bizarre of requests. You can get a very traditional portrait done or as outlandish as you can dream. Zombies, Hipsters, Pirates, Ninjas, Superheroes, Robots, etc. are all fair-game themes in which you can have yourself transmogrified in painted form.

Organizing
I’ve really never been the organized/tidy type. At all. But in order to increase efficiency (and probably sanity) I’ve made it a goal to get my life/space/work structured and organized! So here’s a start: my workspace.
Before…
This picture shows my current workspace, where I’ve already added a couple of organizational elements recently, but you can see my work has started closing in on me anyway. Not ok! (Granted this is after a pretty busy week).
After…
I took some time to find permanent homes for some of the clutter (packing station to the lower left, organized some receipts, etc.) and removed my easel as I’m working on mostly smaller pieces right now anyway. Ahh, I can breathe! I also added a white board above my monitor for lists or quotes or whatever I feel like.
Looking much better. This is not a finished picture of what I want my workspace to look like, but it’s a start. Next is coming up with a great, organized storage system for my paints, since digging for specific colors through a bucket full of paints gets annoying. I’m also going to be working on more efficient storage for my inventory, and a place to store my packaged-and-ready-to-go packages.
Color My World
I was taking photos of my new le animalé creations and looked over to see this happy box of crayons sitting there. So I snapped a photo. I used to be so into neutral colors, but these days all colors make my happy. They’re so fun.
